Bedroom makeover

So after browsing around at some decorating ideas, this is what I'd like for my bedroom to eventually look like. I'd like to actually do everything myself though.This would mean finding unique pieces at flea markets and painting them, finding items such as window frames, making pillows with fabrics I find. I hope to make this my new project, work on it a little each month, and perhaps by springtime I will have a new bedroom! I'm not sure if it's too feminine for my husband though. What do you think?
