Myself, clearly for the photography capabilities- a better image sensor than my D60 and a more pro body, and Steve is in love with the video capability. Plus it will come in handy with the baby and being able to send video to family back in Illinois. Of course we could just buy a video camera.
I've had mixed reviews of whether or not it is a good buy. I've had lots of people tell me the D90 is a better bang for the buck, and I've also had people tell me to wait till I can afford the D700. Any tips, advice or suggestions from the photog people out there in blogger world?
