Week 38

Hello week 38! Sitting here about to leave for our 38 week apt. I am 38 weeks and 2 days. Obviously I'm feeling larger than ever. :) I admit that my weight gain goal is long gone (boo) but hopefully it will come off easily. After all, I have to fit into someone special's bridesmaid dress in June....:) I've been feeling what I think are contractions, early labor stuff. They're about every 20-30 minutes but nothing they aren't so bad- stronger than Braxton hicks but I can talk through them and still do everything I normally do during the day. Yesterday I started feeling a little nauseous- I read somewhere that that could be an early sign of labor as well. I think my body is ready for Jaden to get outta there. At least that's what my stomach tells me everytime he moves around (by the way, he hasn't slowed down in movement like they said he would) along with my sciatic nerve that shoots pain down my legs when he touches it. Little booger. ;)

We had some awesome company last week. My sister came up for a few days along with my nieces. Then some friends came up to visit for the weekend. We attempted to get a spa day, but since everywhere was "super slammed" -haha we couldn't find a place to get massages. :( Maybe next weekend.

My good friend Nicole and her fiance are headed up today to visit and paint some in my kitchen and maybe some other places. Hooray! :)

The nursery is just about finished. (will post pictures soon) I'm just waiting on some photo orders to fill the frames and some bamboo blinds for the windows. I think we are just about ready and have about everything we will need, at least for a while. :) We were extremely blessed by all 3 showers we had. Thank you to everyone!

It's funny- me being a photographer I didn't end up getting maternity pictures done, aside from the expansion pictures I've/we've been taking periodically. I may recruit my friend Nicole to snap a few of them for me while they're up here.
